Miyajima in Autumn 2005
These are some sceneries of Miyajima, courtesy of friends' cameras. Enjoy!
1) Football/soccer balls
2) Senduk nasi Miyajima (ladles)
3) In the water near the Itsukishima Shrine stands the world renowned Torii, one of the largest in Japan
4) Some scary masks I couldn't resist NOT snapping a shot
5)The Senjokaku Shrine-the Hall of a Thousand Mats-is an outstanding building and the vermilion red Five-Storied Pagoda was built in 1407AD, Japanese and Chinese architectures
6) In the Momiji gari park
7) Near the lovely river
8) A seagull (FINALLY I see a white bird as opposed to everyday looking at ravens!) showing off in front of the ferry to Hiroshima-Miyajima-Hiroshima
Note to FOOTBALL /Soccer fans: The Adidas Soccer balls collection was on display in one of the shops, I wasn't sure why this is the case. But it sure was a sight for sore eyes aye! :))
